DSGW Architects, a community oriented firm, has named associate and long-time staff interior designer Julie Spiering to Partner. Spiering is currently directing the interior design studio and leads project teams on a variety of projects across market sectors from hospitality to corporate design.
“Julie knows how to deliver design solutions for our clients that are both creative and functional,” said John Gerzina, President of DSGW. “She truly enjoys working with clients to develop efficient interiors that support their business goals. Her experience in working across many different industries will support DSGWs objectives to grow and expand services.”
Spiering, a Certified Interior Designer, began working at DSGW in 1999. At that time DSGW provided basic interior design services. With Spiering’s leadership, the interior scope of services has grown, focusing on designing and furnishing buildings to provide users a unique experience that complements the design of a building. Spiering has worked her way up into her current role, which with the new title of partner, will allow her to become more deeply involved in not only the design aspect of the company, but the business side as well.
“I’m excited to continue to lead the interior design studio for DSGW. For me, design is all about the human experience and creating a space that the end-users relate to in a positive way.” Spiering said. “This new role gives me the ability to help position the firm into the future and be involved in special initiatives.”
Spiering’s expertise includes design visioning, full-service interior design and FF&E implementation.
