DSGW Architects, a full service architectural and planning interior design firm welcomes two new employees to the Duluth office.
Thomas Talbot joins the firm as controller. He previously was the accountant for Hanna Mining Company and an accounting analyst for Essentia Health. He has more than three decades of accounting experience and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and is also a Certified Public Accountant.
“My position as controller at DSGW is unique because I get to work with everyone in the company as they design projects to help them effectively manage time and costs,” Talbot said.
Lena Greenfield has been hired as executive assistant. She manages office operations providing support throughout all phases of an architectural project. She previously worked at the Superior School District as a special education assistant and also ran her own promotional and embroidery business.
“I enjoy assisting the staff in every step of the project process,” Greenfield said. “It’s fun to see the end product and what an impact the buildings make on those that work and use them in the community.”
“We’re pleased to have Tom and Lena join DSGW at a time of growth and opportunity for us and our clients,” said John Scott, the firm’s CEO. “Our new employees reflect the high skills and values that our clients have come to expect from DSGW. We welcome them to our team.”
