The Tokata Youth Center stands as a beacon of hope and transformation for Native American youth. At the heart of its mission is a commitment to nurturing the potential of these young individuals, guiding them towards a brighter future.

The newly constructed facility offers a safe and engaging environment designed to meet the diverse needs of the youth it serves. A spacious game room provides a place for recreation and fun, while a large, multi-use area can be transformed for gym activities, group gatherings, or a space for socializing. Recognizing the importance of education and nourishment, the Center also boasts a dedicated classroom for learning and a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen. This kitchen not only provides nutritious dinners for the youth during the school year but also extends its services to include lunches during the summer months, ensuring consistent access to healthy meals.

The building itself is a testament to innovative construction practices. Utilizing pre-cast concrete panels, sourced from a local company, the design and construction process prioritized quality control, leading to a superior final product. Furthermore, the use of these panels significantly expedited the construction timeline, resulting in cost savings for the client. The pre-cast panel system allows for year-round construction, minimizing potential delays due to weather or seasonal constraints.

Looking to the future, the Center will embark on Phase II of its development. This expansion will add a full-sized gymnasium, providing even more opportunities for physical activity and community events. Two additional classrooms are also planned, further enhancing the Center’s capacity to offer educational programs and support the academic growth of the youth it serves.
