Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures revitalized underutilized land within the city of Minneapolis, converting it into a vibrant, multifaceted space that fosters a strong sense of community.
To ensure convenience and accessibility, the project incorporates a secure, private underground parking facility for tenants and office staff.
The ground floor accommodates administrative functions. It features nine offices, each benefitting from natural light through north-facing windows, creating a productive and welcoming work environment. Complementing the offices are 2 conference rooms, alongside an open collaboration space designed to encourage teamwork. The first floor serves as a vital community resource, featuring a versatile gathering space capable of hosting up to 54 individuals. This space is equipped with a commercial kitchen and a computer lab, providing essential technological resources for residents and community members.
Above the ground floor, the building encompasses three residential levels, offering 36 units of affordable housing. These units cater to a diverse range of needs, spanning from one-bedroom to three-bedroom residences, ensuring that individuals and families have access to quality living spaces within the city.
The rooftop of the development is designed to foster family-friendly interactions and recreational activities. This elevated space features a fully-fenced playground, a community garden, and is equipped with solar panels, contributing to the building’s energy efficiency by generating renewable electricity.
