Anishinabe III is the result of a collaborative vision of Project for Pride in Living and the American Indian Community Development Corporation, providing housing for Indigenous peoples that are homeless and struggle with substance abuse. The 4-story structure located on East Franklin Street in Minneapolis, is the third on the property and is one of the only buildings on the “American Indian Cultural Corridor” that shows a strong culturally influenced design. The facility includes 40 single-occupant resident rooms, gathering spaces, secured lobby, warming kitchen, offices for the receptionist and case manager, and additional multi-purpose rooms and showers in the basement with space to be used for homeless members in the community to come in out of the cold.
DSGW is proud to have partnered with these impactful organizations to design Anishinabe III. If you are in need of of their assistance for housing please contact Project for Pride in Living directly by calling (612) 455-5133 or clicking HERE.
