To solve the issue of homelessness on the Fond du Lac reservation, tribal leaders and DSGW Architects created a master plan for a supportive housing development.
The development includes a 24-unit complex, with single bedroom efficiency-style apartments and two townhome facilities with up to three bedrooms as well as a community center and playground.
To help secure state and federal funding for the project, leaders from the tribe turned to DSGW Architects to develop a plan. Teaming up secured funding from no less than fifteen sources, and they constructed the $4.6 million project. This incredibly successful project received rave reviews and tremendous applause from local, state and tribal officials.
