With nearly 13 years of architectural experience, Erik takes the time to look at the clients long range goals & helps follow them through project design and construction. The diverse background and community involvement allows him to develop creative site-sensitive projects such as: Virginia Regional Medical Center Medical Arts Clinic, Roseau City Center, Saint Louis County Ely Joint Use Maintenance Facility, Fortune Bay Resort Hotel Expansion, Red Lake Seven Clans Casino and Mountain Iron Lake Country Power Service Center.
Erik also served as the past President for the Northern Chapter of American Institute of Architects (AIA) and is currently the Planning & Zoning Administrator for the City of Gilbert, Founding Virginia Educational Fund Board Member, Executive Assistant for the Gethsemane Lutheran Church Parish Planning Council and serves on the Mesabi Range Community Technical College Carpentry Advisory Board. In 2006, he was awarded the AIA Minnesota Presidential Citation for serving as the Northern Minnesota President on the AIA Minnesota Board and for representing the Northern members well.
